He has two big revolvers and a great billowing poncho. From the beginning i knew much fun was to be had.
Color scheme wise i didn't want to completely copy the example picture i had been given by my client (as i had been given free choice also) but i did want it to have a nice western feel, true to the inspiration of the piece.
I decided to get the poncho done first. My thinking is that the poncho is the center piece of this dynamic model, so if the poncho leads the color scheme then it will have the most unified feel, but also given that i knew the fur would be kind of boring to paint i (dry brushing layers) i wanted to start with something more fun!
I used a simple dark green line across the parallel vertical sides of the cape.
