Today i went to town and grabbed myself a handful of new goodies! first thing i found was a discounted box of tamiya weathering pigments, but unopened :) i snapped this one up and then went looking for a new project to paint for sale. I chose ww2 as its always popular but i love the Valiant models and it was a pleasure, as much as it was a draaaggggggggg to glue up these 64....yes.....SIXTY FOUR models....for only £6! that's almost less than $10! They're good fun to glue but they are very hard plastic and only take strong glue. Also they are just that bit smaller than regular 28's being on the heroic end of 1/72 o they're more 25mm. Big question as this point....how to base them! Some of the kitbashing, i particularly enojyed converting the mortar operator setting up his weapon, i found that to add a lot of variety so i didnt just end up with four mortar guys doing the same thing.
