Last night i put a good four hour session on this guy. first things first i followed up the ink with a painstaking highlighting process. as usual this took a while as i tried to leave the ink sitting nicely in the little crevices and shadow areas. following that i began the black lining process, for which i used a 3.0 fineliner pen. some people don't like using pens and stuff on miniatures but as far as i am concerned its not a toy to paint, its a piece of art and a playing piece to be bought to life, by whichever means! check out the update pics below, pretty much done with this one now, just need to work on the base.
Check out the lighting after i touched it up and re applied the baby blue wash. i am personally very happy with this but i think i just need to use cleaner water for the mix.
Quick Scale Comparison
(hiroko is only 32mm so the big guy is a real biggun!)
