As i say a sad farewell to another fun and fond commission and post the biblical miniatures back to their owner i have a moments chance to sit back and gleem the projects to come. I have my new commission of the 15mm Taliban miniatures, one that is very exciting and being 15mm a great chance to work on an intriguing scale. (see 1/72 and 20mm scale comparison, 15mm is like the third child!) Pictured below is the current commission in its primed state, i LOVE this stage the most, the new job is beginning, the paint is going on and the details begin to pop, my mind begins to swim with ideas. bloody brilliant.
I am eager to get some paint on these miniatures and following tonights test mini's i will launch into the commission. i predict a short run with these but i already know i am gonna learn a lot. i shall share my current inspiration pics with notes tommorow!
An ongoing Old West enthusiast i am excited to dive once more into another town. This town is going to be a small mining town with just the provisional stores and a bunkhouse or two. the Mine will give it a point of focus as well as tension!
Probably my slowest moving project but i want to get these right, they are amazing miniatures, pieces of art even, so i aim to take my time and get some lovely finished pieces. i will keep you updated.
